Storyboards for Dona Xepa

Here are some storyboards I did for this new show called Dona Xepa. The first idea wich was someting like the intro of "lord of war" was rejected. So we had to work on a second idea that wich made to the final product.

As fairy tales goes

This one took me a lot of time, so I'm glad I finished it!
In this piece I tried to work with fantasy art, something I've never tried before!
My intention here was to make a kind of mix between Disney and Ghibli!
Hope you like it!

Curumim

Now this one I had to complete real quick! I was asked to illustrate the history of a little indian boy, that fell in the river and was saved by being pulled by his hair, after that he never cut his hair anymore since then. I would have to make it in a comicbook style to be animated later. So I did a real quick character study and thumbnails.
Then moved on to the final piece.

Drawing for comics workshop

I'm doing a workshop called "drawing for comics"by Tim Mcburnie at Cgsociety. I'm liking it so far, and learning tons of stuff I hadn't bought before, so here are my assignments for the first weeks, I had to do an influence map, and actually it was fun to think about the artists that influenced me the most, also it was hard to make then all fit in an image, of course I had to let some out. And also there are some sketches and thumbs I've made!
